Good evening grishin

The error code 10 means the firmware failed to download the kernel image. In your case I notice no downloading on the new 2big1 kernel image.
So the nas does it have an Internet access ?

Yes, after connecting to the Internet and updating again to version 18.2, the patch was successfully installed. Only the message remains

Hi,

Indeed as long as you do not reboot the nas, the firmware still uses the old kernel version and you have this warning. In my message, you do not have to reboot the nas only you got the error code '666' when you installed the patch.

So you can reboot the nas in your case.

PS: Can you test if the power switch works as expected as described in my post ?

I did a reboot twice without any results :dontknow

Jocko wrote:New feature: new button daemon allows to implement rightly the power switch behaviour. On short pressing (less than 5 second) a reboot is initiated and a power-off on a longer pressing

I haven't got this functionality working.

The power switch has no function in the firmware.
The big blue front push button is now activated when new kernel is loaded

I understand that we are talking about a "Big Blue Button" :evilwink
Maybe the new kernel is too good for such old-old device )

:hammerhead Problem with my second disk. When running a single disk (left-handed) NAS, everything is fine. The new BBB daemon works as intended :thumbup Thank you and sorry for the confusion

I understood where is the issue. I think we have made an error on our kernel filename images with your platform type. I need to have a talking about that with fvdw
