Fail: Bad plugout account (could not login)

Postby grishin » Sat Oct 31, 2020 7:02 pm

Hi fvdw and Jocko! /sorry about googlenglish/
Long time no see, but i still use 2big1. Everything works fine except for the online update. This is not a problem for me, just wondering why :hammerhead
1. Patch fvdw-sl-18.2-loginPlugout-v2-30nov2019 installed, firmware 18.1, manual update.
2. putty "plugout download 6324" returns a message "login credentials not yet set"
3. I changed DNS, now 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1 - no change
4. No data is saved when i enter a correct login/password
What else to try?

Hi

What you can do is to upgrade to version 18.2 (auto way should be ok if you use a valid DNS: ISP DNS or Google DNS ,...).
Then try again to set your plugout login (https://plugout.net/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=3224)

Note: the related package of your plugout command is an add-ons package, so currently you can not download it

Use google dns (again) and enter login/password - unchanged "Fail: Bad plugout account (could not login)"
Maybe the problem is in my Internet - i use mobile i-net via pdanet app or problem on your server side?
my post only bugreport, no need for updates or add-ons, just basic functionality. I understand that addons for donators, sorry about that  thank you for your work

Hi

Did you install this patch : https://plugout.net/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=3149#p31089
This one may be installed on any version 18.x and provides a fix when there is an issue between our OVH server and ISP

For reliability, I installed it twice, but without effect

Hi

So with a version 18.1 patched, if you can not make an auto-upgrade to version 18.2 that means it is an issue with your network setting : the nas fails to reach the server hosting our site.

I seem to understand the problem. My NAS has a static IP without Internet access. it's me -> :laughat
I'm sorry , I'm ashamed of such a stupid mistake :sob
