front light off

Hi i dont know what happen

but i search to describe now when the lacie start the blu light dont go
the system start with red light flashing after go red and after switch off
the light. Is not a light problem because i see some time blue light goes up
so the light is good.
And if is inserted only the disk with fvdw 1.18 dont start the system if i insert
the original disk it start but the light goes off.
What can i check ?
why it start with original disk but with some problem on light
why fvdw doesnt start ?

Hi

As you use a raid0 it is not a good idea to run with only one disk! Be careful

About led, I need to find the related topic, but led behaviour is related also with the raid status and on version 18.2, there is an issue with a raid0.
I go to send you the patch.

Currently as you tried to boot with only one disk, your raid0 should have a bad status (resyncing) and then the fw wants to change the led status (red led on and blinking)

Ok i understand what you say about Raid 0 but it s possible go ahead because this unit is the back up
of another system lacie and this is the reason why i mount only one disk inside

I dont know if this is important but i have the same problem with
original disk in this case two disk start blinking red stop re blinking red
and after light off

Thanks i want install the patch inside but how can i upload

because the system signal me that i cannot upload files
on fvdw directory

afp is actvated but mac user cant connet
web explorer say that i cant upload files
ftp also
i verify permission and server start nothing to do
please help

Using the firmware update functionality i install the latest version 18.2

but the light does not operate

At the moment i have only one disk on board because i dont have any other disk
infact i prefer to mantain the original disk out.

only to be clear i had on board
a wd red 2tb disk on left bay
the other bay is empty.

what happen ?
during reboot start the red light blinking
after the light is off but i see the blue light that is operating

what i can understand if there is a hardware problem
i can check the light operation ?
from menu of fvdw the light doesnt reply at command switch on switch off

this problem can be the power supply ???
