I would create a shared folder on fvdw nas with name backup-lacie and choose that folder as destination, as source I would select the external folder and set option to incude subfolders. The backup will then copy the external folder into the backup-lacie folder. No need to create a folder with same name as on lacie nas in backup-lacie folder on fvdw nas, backup wil create it.

can a user have more than one directory authorized and other
so as you teach me the root is backup-lacie and sub folder new1 new2 new3
can i configure user (A) to see dir backup-lacie autorized to see sub folder new1 and new3 ?
